Summary

  • D3h pins the round-trip from register → persisted config JSON → show-config output. Each persisted field (ServerUrl, Roles, Environments, ListeningPort) MUST appear in show-config's stdout, AND each operator-grepped label literal (ServerUrl:, Roles:, etc.) MUST be present.
  • Catches: PersistInstanceConfig key-name drift vs LoadTentacleSettings expectation; Tentacle:Mode detection regression; output-format label renames that break operator grep pipelines.

Why this matters

Operators routinely run show-config | grep after register to verify their intended config landed. If any layer of the round-trip drifts (writer ↔️ reader, or reader ↔️ printer), the verification silently lies.

Test plan

  • dotnet build green
  • CI passes D3h_ShowConfigAfterRegister_ReturnsPersistedValues
  • D3h asserts: ServerUrl + Roles + Environments + ListeningPort all appear; labels present; 'Detected Mode: Listening' present; no 'Certificate: Error' fallback
  • Existing 47 Linux E2E tests still pass
