Add Windows service real-host install E2E
Summary
- Add a Windows-host E2E for
Squid.DeployWindowsServiceundertests/Squid.WindowsTentacleE2ETests/, reusingWindowsServiceFixtureandSquid.WindowsTentacleE2E.TestService. - Cover first deployment only: package v1 is staged from the test service build output, the generated production
WindowsServiceDeployScriptBuilderPowerShell installs/starts the service, and the test asserts service status plus marker/version output. - Add a dedicated E2E category:
WindowsServiceDeployE2E. - Keep this branch small: 7.2 and 7.3 are done; 7.4 update deployment and 7.5 cleanup/non-Windows behavior stay for the next branch.
- OpenSpec local progress updated to
30/37tasks complete.openspec/is ignored, so the task checkbox change is local progress tracking, not part of the commit.
Test plan
-
Focused WindowsTentacle E2E: env DOTNET_ROLL_FORWARD=Major dotnet test tests/Squid.WindowsTentacleE2ETests/Squid.WindowsTentacleE2ETests.csproj --filter FullyQualifiedName~WindowsServiceDeployRealHostE2ETests --no-restore --verbosity minimal -
git diff --check -
openspec instructions apply --change add-deploy-windows-service-step --jsonconfirms progress30/37. -
Full real SCM behavior still needs a Windows runner with service-control permissions; local macOS run validates compile + non-Windows guard path.
